Meet Our Doctors
Jaclyn McMahon D.D.S.
As a third generation dentist, dentistry is in Dr. Jackie’s blood! Following in her dad’s footsteps (Dr. Bob!), Dr. Jackie graduated from the University of Illinois-Chicago College of Dentistry in 2008. She has practiced as Dr. Bob’s associate doctor for 13 years, and purchased the practice from him at the end of 2020. Dr Jackie grew up right here in Schaumburg and attended Hoffman Estates High School. Her undergraduate degree is a Bachelor’s of Science in Animal Science from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY. Dr. Jackie LOVES animals! She has four fur babies, her black lab Gilly, miniature dachshund Winnie, Siberian cat Winston, and warmblood horse Colette! Taking Gilly and Winnie on walks and riding Colette are her favorite things to do! Dr. Jackie and her husband Drew love to spend time with friends and family, eating good food and traveling when they can! She also loves music, plays guitar and piano, and writes songs.
Robert Slovick D.D.S.
Dr. Bob grew up in Elmhurst, Illinois, where his father (and Dr. Jackie’s grandfather) Dr. Jerome Slovick owned a dental practice. Dr. Jerome was the first of the nine dentists in the family! Dr. Bob attended Loyola University of Chicago as a biology / chemistry double major, which is also where he met his wife Sue. Dr. Bob received early admission to the University of Illinois-Chicago College of Dentistry, where he graduated with honors. Dr. Bob is a member of the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Bob enjoys spending time with his family: daughter Dr. Jackie, her husband Drew and grand dog Gilly; and son Bill, his wife June and grandson Aden. Dr. Bob enjoys many outdoor activities including fishing, hiking, and boating, and walking his Labrador retriever Finn! Dr Bob has many hobbies including woodworking, wood carving, and brewing beer. His favorite hobby though is blacksmithing!! He has been creating all kinds of amazing metal yard art and metal sculptures! Dr. Bob’s favorite colors are navy/orange and red/black. Go Bears, Hawks and Bulls!
Sapana Parikh Smith D.M.D.
Dr. Sapana grew up in the southwest suburb of Darien. She attended college at the University of Illinois-Champaign Urbana, where she majored in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Dr. Sapana also attended the University of Illinois-Chicago College of Dentistry, and graduated with honors. She is a member of the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Sapana loves to travel, read books, bake, and cross stitch. She has a Shichon dog (Bichon Frise and Shih Tzu) named Hubble. Dr. Sapana’s husband Al picked the name Hubble because he loves all things NASA and space! Dr. Sapana and Al have a son Avi, and he keeps them busy with all sorts of activities like swimming, music class, and gymnastics!
