Single Tooth

Dental implants have become the standard of care to replace a single missing tooth.

If a tooth is lost or is missing for any reason, a dental implant will replace it so it feels like your own tooth. Dental implants are small titanium screws that integrate into bone. Just like when someone gets a joint replacement, or has screws placed to repair a broken bone, the bone heals around the titanium and it becomes a part of the jaw. After the healing process is done, a porcelain crown is attached to the implant, and voila! A tooth! The best part of implants is the adjacent teeth are not damaged, and it feels and functions just like any other tooth in your mouth.
